Sandra G. Vermouth, 83, of Milford, Massachusetts, and formerly of Hebron, New Hampshire, passed away on Friday, Oct. 13, at the Rockville Hospital in Rockville, Connecticut. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Vermouth.
Sandra was a daughter of the late Russell Hamilton and Gertrude (Drennan) Hamilton. She leaves behind four daughters, Kerin Miller of Knoxville, Tennessee, Danielle Donovan and her husband Stephen of Quincy, Massachusetts, Jo-Anne Fields and her husband William of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Brenda Perron and her husband Paul of Ellington, Connecticut.
Sandra was a remarkable business person who co-owned a highly successful real estate business in the Newfound Lakes Region. During her time at this agency, she was an award-winning sales broker for the company. Sandra, through her example, promoted equality for women in the workforce. Throughout her life, Sandra enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband Michael, boating on Newfound Lake, and enjoying time spent at her second home in Bradenton, Florida, with good friends and family. She also enjoyed spending time with her 10 grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Noah, Nicole, Catherine, Elizabeth, Brittany, Cody, Christopher and Jeffrey, as well as 10 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters, Carol Campbell of Rochester, New York, and Bonnie Glidden of Newton, Massachusetts. She was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia Cwirka and Nancy Tempesta.
Sandra’s funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, Massachusetts. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Westborough. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
