Roger W. Heath, 80
LACONIA — Roger Warren Heath, 80, of 160 Highland St., died Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Lakes Region General Hospital.
He was born on June 14, 1935, in Laconia, the son of the late Marshall W. and Celia (Dumais) Heath.
Roger served in the Army National Guard for seven years.
He worked for a number of years as a machinist for Scott & Williams in Laconia. Later he worked as a self- employed general contractor.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling in the area, and especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Marion (LaRoche) Heath of Laconia; two sons, Bruce and Brian Heath, both of Laconia; two daughters, Linda Waldron and Karen Heath, both of Laconia; two sisters, Elaine Bennett and Marjorie Chandonnait, both of Laconia; 10 grandchildren, Kira and Rachel Waldron, Jeffrey Heath, Nick and Jason Tardy, Raven LaRoche, Gina, Nigel, Maximus and Lily Heath, all of Laconia; six great-grandchildren, Mariah, Marissa and Maranda Heath, Raelynn and Shelby Lamos and Michael Clark, all of Laconia; nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private.
