Robert R. Horne, 69

LACONIA — Robert R. Horne, 69, of Laconia, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Granite VNA and Hospice House in Concord.

Robert was born on Aug. 7, 1954, in Manchester, the son of William and Myrtle (Lawrence) Horne.

He loved and cherished riding his motorcycle, and continuously did so whenever he could. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery and spending time with his family. Robert was known to help anybody who needed something fixed in their home or vehicle. He was very sarcastic and not afraid to show it, and he had a great sense of humor up until the end.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Kary Calnan and her significant other, Jay Jewell, and Kim Nesbitt and her husband Than; seven grandchildren, Adam and his wife Ashlee, Skye and her boyfriend Tyler, Andrew, Michael, Nathaniel, Brycen and Declan; two great-granddaughters, Chloe and Callie; brother, John Horne; sisters, Joan Manning and her husband Keith, and Linda Longden and her husband Dickie; sister-in-law, Debbie Horne; and many nieces and nephews that he enjoyed watching grow. In addition to his parents, Robert is predeceased by his brother, David W. Horne and his sister, Mary Gingras.

There will be no services at this time.
