LACONIA — Richard M. “ Sully” Sullivan, 61, of 22 Strafford Street died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Thursday, September 15 , 2011.
Mr. Sullivan was born September 24, 1949 in Boston, Mass. He lived in Plymouth, NH for several years before moving to Laconia three years ago. He had worked as an independent contractor for the U. S. Postal Service in Lincoln and North Woodstock, N.H.
Mr. Sullivan enjoyed taking his family to Weirs Beach and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Aileen Sullivan, of Laconia and one daughter, Dawn Marie Sullivan, of Concord.
There will be no calling hours.
A Private Funeral Service will be held.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tribute Program, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148-1042.
