Regina A. Jones, 77

 

SALISBURY — Regina A. Jones, 77, a longtime resident of Salisbury, died on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, following a long period of failing health. She was born in Laconia on April 29, 1940, daughter of the late Henry A. and Jeanne (Drouin) Robert. Regina lived in Tilton for several years and was a graduate of the Tilton-Northfield High School. She had resided in Franklin for many years before moving to Salisbury in 1994.

Regina worked for many years with New England Telephone, and later with AT&T in payroll and scheduling departments prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post #1698 and Telephone Pioneers. She and her husband wintered in Hudson, Florida, for over 20 years. Regina was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Tilton. In addition to her parents, She was predeceased by her sister, Rita J. Bolduc in 2012. She leaves her husband of 37 years, Robert P. Jones of Salisbury; her daughters Michelle E. Dubia of Danville; Natalie A. Libby of Hill; Valerie A. Rutter of Whitewater, Colorado; Sharon A. Howard of Hillsboro; and Susan J. Stalbird of New Ipswich; and sons Philip G. Dubia Jr. of Stevensville, Montana; John M. Dubia of Hillsboro; and Steven R. Jones of Antrim.

Altogether, she has a total of 52 grand- and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main St.) in Tilton.

A gathering to celebrate Regina's life will be held on Tuesday, May 9, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the VFW Post 1698, Peabody Place in Franklin, with a Ladies Auxiliary Service held during the celebration.

Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Antrim at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Regina's name to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice at CRVNA, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301.
