LACONIA — Phil A. Plante Jr., 60, of 64 Warren St., died Sunday morning, November 16, 2003, at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia.
He was born January 13, 1943, in Lakeport, the son of Margaret M. (Cronin) Plante and the late Philias A. Plante Sr. He was a graduate of Laconia High School, Class of 1961, and had been a life long resident of Laconia.
He had been employed as a dispatcher for Gardner Jewett Oil Co. and was later employed as manager of Goulet Supply Co. for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty L. (Osgood) Plante of Laconia; two sons, Mitchell D., and his wife Julie A. Plante, of Gilford, and Richard A. Plante of Laconia; twin granddaughters, Kolbi N. and Taeylor M. Plante, both of Gilford; his mother, Margaret M. "Peg" Plante of Lakeport; a brother, Peter R. Plante of Laconia; two sisters, Elizabeth M. "Betty" Moores of Center Harbor, and Patricia "Patty" Zemianek of Bennington, Vt.; a brother-in-law and his wife, Kenneth S. and Sharon Osgood of Lakeport; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, November 21, 2003, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Dewhirst Funeral Home, 1061 Union Ave., Laconia. Funeral services will be
private.
