LACONIA — Pauline R. Stetson, 89, of 66 Landing Lane #209, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. She was the widow of Raymond Stetson who died in 1978.
Mrs. Stetson was born October 31, 1920 in Laconia, N.H., the daughter of Elodore and Nora (Lacasse) Larrivee. She was a lifelong resident of Laconia and had been employed at O’Shea’s Department Store for forty years.
Mrs. Stetson was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and was a longtime member of St. Joseph Ladies’ Guild. She enjoyed her family, knitting and being on Lake Winnisquam.
Mrs. Stetson is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Suzanne Stetson, of Milford; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and John Connolly, of Gilmanton; five grandchildren, Scott Connolly, Stacy Anders, John Connolly, Jr., Kimberly Woods and Kristy Wilson; eight great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Stetson was predeceased by a brother, Francis Larrivee, in 1944.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N. H.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia, N.H.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph Ladies’ Guild, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
