Michele L. Chase, 50
FRANKLIN — Michele L. Chase, age 50, of 88B Chestnut St., passed away on Sunday Aug. 30, 2015, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a courageous 2 1/2 year fight with leukemia.
Michele was born on Nov. 19, 1964, in Laconia, the daughter of Merton L. Chase Jr. (Butch) and Louise H. (Decato) Chase.
She loved the Red Sox, Celtics and the Patriots and was also a NASCAR fan, with her favorite drivers being No. 2 Rusty Wallace and No. 48 Jimmy Johnson. Michele also loved dolphins, and the peace that the ocean gave her. She will be remembered for the unconditional love she continually gave as a mother, not only to her children but extended that to her two cats, Tiger and Mowmow, the genuine and true heart she gave to her friendships and her amazing work ethic.
In addition to her parents, Michele is survived by her son, Damian M. Chase and her daughter, Shayla M. McPhail; a brother, Robert Ringer, 12 cousins, Charlene Boulanger, Becky Blake, Angela Cassavaugh, Corey Blake, Diane Blake, Francis Hilliard Jr., Robin Mooney, Cathy Chase Collette, Jason Skaradowski, Tammy (Draper), Rusty Draper and Heidi Carrigan (Weeks); four aunts, Regis Lacroix, Arlene Draper, Patty Hilliard and Mary Blake; three uncles, Robert Blake, Robert Chase and Hank Decato. Michele also leaves behind many special friends, Wally Angers, Sherry Welch, Rachael Marsh, Christine Ryan, Sheila Cross and Lori Fancy, as well as many neighbors who became close to her.
Michele is predeceased by her grandmothers, Helen L. Decato, Ida Grimston and Dora Sullivan; grandfathers, Dorea J. Decato and Merton L. Chase Sr.; and two uncles, Victor J. Decato and Francis Hillliard.
All are welcome to attend memorial calling hours on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m., using the carriage house entrance.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the St. Andre Bessette Parish-St. Joseph Church, 30 Church St., Laconia. Burial will immediately follow in Union Cemetery.

Michele's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the doctors and their staff at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital, Lebanon, and Brigham and Women's Hospital for all of the care and compassion they provided to Michele and her loved ones, in her time of need.
