Matthew C. Desautelle, 62

LACONIA — Matthew Carl Desautelle, 62, of Fenton Avenue, passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2024.

Matthew was born on Oct. 18, 1961, in Laconia, the son of the late Carl Desautelle and Louise (Casey) Desautelle.

Matthew was a hardworking family man with a big heart. He enjoyed playing darts, weight lifting, campfires, swimming , barbecues and playing basketball with his boys. Music was a passion of his. He was a talented guitar and keyboard player. He was a New England sports fan; his favorite teams being the Patriots and Celtics.

Matthew is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Wright-Desautelle; sons, Brady Desautelle and Bryant Desautelle; daughter, Alyssa Desautelle and her fiancé Blake Bergeron; brother Mark Desautelle; sisters Laura Desautelle, Karen Crory, Susan Kallum, and Lisa Rojek and her husband Russ; sisters-in-law Ashley Regan and her husband Greg, Shari Sarris and her husband George, and Cortney Gomez; brother-in-law Aaron Wright; father-in-law Ron Wright; mother-in-law Nancy Burbank and her partner Thomas Rich, and several nieces and nephews. Matthew is predeceased by his parents and his nieces, Rihanna and Courtney.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St.
