LACONIA — Lillian T. Blakely, 95, died Aug. 25, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on Jan. 22, 1920, and was one of nine siblings.

She worked at Submarine Signal during World War II and later worked for the FBI.

She was an English major and speed typist.

At age 73 she retired from Shawmut Bank were she was involved in the start of ATM cards.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Vincent T. Blakely; her daughter, Regine C. Blakely; and seven siblings.

She is survived by her son, Alan T. Blakely and his wife Heidi; three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren; one sister; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.
