On Dec. 26, 2025, Aaron Walter Fournier, age 48, of Alexandria, passed away suddenly from an illness.

Aaron was a wonderful father, son, brother, and partner. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Dott Harring of Tilton.

Aaron deeply loved his family, his friends, whom he considered family, and his dogs. And more recently his reconnection to God was very important to him. He had a passion for the outdoors and adventure, he loved to travel, enjoying activities such as hunting, deep sea fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, off roading, and singing karaoke at his local bar. These were moments he cherished and shared with his two sons, Harrison Avery Fournier (24) and Jasen Matthew Fournier (23).

He is survived by his mother, Christine Harring Fournier; his father, Arthur Fournier; his brother, Andrew (Wendy) Fournier; his sister, Rebecca Fournier; his sons, Harrison and Jasen Fournier; their mother, Betsy Fournier; his partner in life, Becka Uhlman, her children Justine McComiskey, Kelby Brooker, and grandson Brayden; as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Aaron was known for his kind heart and goofy nature. To some, he was a friend, to others, a hero. To all who knew him, he was a legend, a true pillar of the community whose presence will be deeply missed.

Services are being held at Ashland Community Church at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17. His celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Bridgewater Inn.
