GILFORD — Justin D. O'Connor, known by many as JDO, and "J-Rock," 20, of Farmer Drive, was tragically taken too soon as a result of a motorcycle accident on Thursday, June 9, 2016.

Justin was born July 29, 1995 in Laconia, son to Chris and Nancy (Smith) O'Connor.

He had been employed at DGF Industrial and had recently earned his welding certificate. His work was something he both enjoyed and was proud of.

Justin enjoyed four-wheeling, mudding, fishing, tinkering with things, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends. "Oh Shoaa Bub, oh Shoaa" He was a loving, compassionate, goofy kid, who lived life to the fullest, with a heart of gold that would do anything for anyone.

Justin is survived by his loving parents, Chris and Nancy O'Connor, Chris proudly wears the name "Ole Bub" given to him by Justin and his friends, his loving, sister Emily O'Connor, and his girlfriend, Dacey Lecuyer, all of Gilford; his brother, Ryan Loring of Gorham; his grandparents, Lois "Mimi" Smith, Ron "Grumpy" and Norma "Neena" O'Connor, and Sean "Grampy" Coffin I, all of Gilford; six uncles, Uncle Jay and Aunt Kate Stone of Goshen, Dave and his wife "Ant" Kim of Auburn, Ron "Punky" O'Connor and Lynn Sawyer of Gilmanton, Kevin O'Connor and his wife, Heidi of Gilford, Jamie O'Connor and his wife, Stephanie of Navarre, Florida, Sean Coffin II and his wife Crystal of Tamworth; one aunt, Sonya Coffin and Michael of North Carolina; five loving cousins, Madi and Alex Smith, Abby O'Connor, Mason Coffin and Sadie Stone, who affectionately called him "Cuncle Justin."

He was predeceased by his grandfather, David Smith Sr.; and grandmother, Joanne Coffin.

Justin also leaves his "DGF" crew behind.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance. A funeral service will be held, also at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance, on Wednesday, June 15, at 1 p.m., with a celebration of life to follow at the O'Connor home.

For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of their choice.
