It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John "Jack" P. Mahoney, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us peacefully on Aug. 21, 2026, at the age of 79.
Born on March 10, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts, John’s warmth and charisma touched all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Smart Memorial Home, smartmemorialhome.com, 584 W. Main St., Tilton, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by John are invited to gather and pay tribute to a remarkable man who cherished connection and joy.
