Jeannine S. Kenneson, 89

Jeannine Sue (née Humphrey) Kenneson, 89, passed away on Nov. 14, 2025, at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen.

Jeannine was born in Ashland, Ohio, on Dec. 13, 1935, the daughter of Norris (Pete) and Emma (née McCulloch) Humphrey. She was raised in Franklin, graduating from Franklin High School in 1953.

Jeannine was employed in the superintendent’s office of the Winnisquam Regional (Tilton/Northfield) School District for over 30 years until her retirement. Following her retirement, she served as treasurer for the school district for several years.

Jeannine’s hobbies included tatting, pottery, and gardening.

In addition to her parents, Jeannine was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Kenneson, son Gary Kenneson Sr. and grandson Gary Kenneson Jr. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Humphrey; daughters Lori (William) Surowiec and Gail (Normand) Smith; son Robert Kenneson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Jeannine will be held at the Park Cemetery in Tilton, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 24.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Merrimack County Nursing Home and Granite VNA Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to Jeannine.

The Smart Memorial Home, 584 W. Main St., Tilton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
