Jane Sharp

BRISTOL — Jane M. Sharp, 77, passed away on May 7, 2024, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.

Jane was born on December 19, 1946, in Waltham, Massachusetts, the daughter of Everett and Margaret (Bowman) Dalla Costa.

Shortly after graduation from Waltham High School, Jane met and married Fredrick Sharp and made a permanent move to the Newfound Lake area.

Jane loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and the occasional encounter with a slot machine. She loved her various animals, sewing, quilting, and any type of arts & crafts.

Jane is survived by a son, Michael Sharp and wife Brandy of New Hampton, daughter, Melissa Sharp-Greatchus and husband Matt Greatchus of Bristol, four nephews who she helped to raise: Richard Sharp, Donald Sharp, Edward Sharp, and David Sharp; step children Fredrick Robie, Cindy Robie, Robin Reed; grandchildren: Megan Dyer, Gracie Greatchus, Torrie Greatchus; step granddaughter, Cassie Jepsen; great granddaughter Lennon Dyer, step great grandson Jack Jepsen; a sister, Marilyn D’Amore and husband Fred, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband, Jane is predeceased by a son Patrick Sharp and brother Everett “Cappy” Dalla Costa.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 3 at 1 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery, Fowler River Road, Alexandria.
