NORTHFIELD — James Russell O’Connor, 43, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. James was born on Oct. 4, 1982, in Franklin, the son of Thomas O’Connor and Leola O’Connor.
James grew up in Northfield, attending and graduating from Winnisquam Regional High School. He enjoyed playing with the kids at school, his friends and teachers loved him. He loved country and western music. He was loved by all who knew him and he loved all his caregivers and friends and his doctor. He always woke up with a smile on his face.
He loved to ride in the van and go to Dairy Queen with his family. He lived with his mother and grandmother all his life.
He is survived by his mother Leola O’Connor; his grandmother Evelyn Littlefield; his aunts Peggy McAlpine, Debra Hudgens and Lisa Slocum; his cousins Robby, Chad and Shelly, William and David; and his great-aunts and uncles. He also loved his little dog, Rusty. Rusty used to sit on his bed at every meal waiting for Jimmy's leftovers. Jimmy will be sadly missed. Until we meet again.
We love you, our sweet Jimmy.
