Irene had a love for the outdoors. She would ride her bicycle from town to town. One of her biggest hiking accomplishments was hiking Mount Washington.
You could always find Irene letter boxing out Tilton's historical monuments including the Tilton Arch, the Island, River and the Winni Trail. She also enjoyed fishing and watching the loons at Knowles Pond. Often family would gather on her big front porch, whether it was Old Home Day or just enjoying the fresh air watching her great-grandchildren play. She will surely be missed by her family.
Burial will be held at a later date at Park Cemetery in Tilton.
The Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, neunfuneralhomes.com, will be assisting the family.
