NORTHFIELD — Giuseppe Marcello Bonanno, 18, of Northfield, died tragically in a motorcycle accident on July 12, 2024, in Belmont.
He was born in Concord, on March 8, 2006, to Joseph P. Bonanno and Jessica M. Daniels. Giuseppe attended Winnisquam Regional High School and was a 2024 graduate of CSI Charter School in Penacook. Always funny and full of life, he lit up every room he ever entered.
An adventurous daredevil, he enjoyed riding his BMX bicycle and took any opportunity to pop a wheelie in any situation. He loved racing motorcycles with his dad and competed in motocross, flat track, and ice racing, earning numerous awards. Because he was so adventurous, he decided to play ice hockey at the age 15. He loved playing for the Lakers hockey team and made many friends in his hockey circle, and he also played varsity football as a cornerback for Winnisquam High School.
A known “Mama’s boy,” he loved spending one-on-one time with his mom by hiking, riding BMX bikes, or having her videotape him doing stunts. He was very proud of his most recent job as an asset protection investigator for Walmart and had aspirations to one day become a New Hampshire Fish and Game Officer due to his tremendous love of animals and New Hampshire’s nature. He was most recently preparing to join the military before God took him home.
Giuseppe was a beautiful soul inside and out and he loved his friends, family, pet snakes, and his beloved canines, Jasper and Willow. If you met Giuseppe one time, he was your friend for life.
Besides his parents he is survived by his sisters Isabella Hayward and Faith Lopes; paternal grandfather Joseph M. Bonanno; paternal grandmother Jodie Wright and husband David Rodrigue; maternal grandfather Eric Daniels and wife Cristina Daniels; maternal grandmother Ann Marie Knapp and husband Mike Knapp. In addition, he leaves behind his niece, Josie Lopes, and two great-grandmothers, Marcy Wright and Mary Wiggin. He will be sadly missed by all his aunts, uncles, cousins and beautiful friends.
Giuseppe was the son every parent wished to have and although he was taken from us too soon, the legacy he leaves will sustain us until we meet again.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 19, at Bennett Funeral Home, followed by interment at Blossom Hill Cemetery, 207 N. State St., Concord. Following the cemetery, all are welcome to the Red Blazer, 72 Manchester St., Concord, for food and fellowship.
The Bonanno and Daniels families would like to express their sincere love and gratitude to all who have reached out to comfort them during this most difficult time. Giuseppe is at peace, and for that, we are blessed.
