Gerald John Curran, 64, of Bristol, formerly of Randolph, Massachusetts, passed away on Jan. 6, 2026.
Born on Nov. 10, 1961, in Quincy, Massachusetts, Gerald was a beacon of loving, generous, and selfless energy throughout his life. Son of the late Ann Yout, Gerald was raised in a nurturing home by his beloved grandmother, Ada "Ma" Monahan, and his aunt, Mary "Mae" Burley, where he developed a profound sense of family from a young age. He was a devoted brother to Linda (Yout) Belmont and her late husband Thomas of Middleboro, Donna (Yout) McKinnon and her husband James of Pembroke, Michelle Crowley and her husband Michael of Whitman, Mark Burley and his wife Cheryl of West Bridgewater, and he lovingly remembered his late brother Billy Yout.
Gerald was a graduate of Randolph High School, and later earned his master's at Southern New Hampshire University. Professionally, Gerald was a water treatment manager at H2O Innovation. He dedicated over 40 years to the field of water treatment. He was a member of the NH Water Pollution Control Association and the Newfound Lake Association.
In his personal life, Gerald’s love knew no bounds. He had a beloved partner of Norma of 30 years, was a stepdad to Brandy Kelly and her husband Gerrit of Hillsboro, Oregon, and Angela Derochers and her husband Scott of Townsend, Massachusetts. Gerald's joy was multiplied in his role as "Pops" to Abygail, Olivia and Emily, in addition to many nieces and nephews who admired him.
A true New England sports fan, Gerald's loyalty to the Patriots was steadfast through victories and losses alike. He also enjoyed reading, boating, snowmobiling, skiing, ice skating and hiking. He enjoyed relaxing by the fire and pool with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St., Randolph, Massachusetts. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the spring at Homeland Cemetery, Bristol.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Minot-Sleeper Library in Bristol.
