LACONIA — Frances Jeannette Vandine, 84, of Strafford Street, passed away on Sept. 18, 2024, at Epsom Healthcare Center in Epsom.

Frances was born on May 22, 1940, in Laconia, the daughter of Roger and Gertrude (Stokes) Cyr.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading her tarot cards, watching her beloved soap operas, coloring, and playing on her computer. She loved to laugh, and was always ready to make someone smile.

She truly enjoyed helping others, and her life reflects that. Not only was she an LPN, but she would always open her heart, and sometimes her home, to those in need.

Frances is survived by her daughters Crystal Vandine and Mira Lee, her grandson Michael Vandine, and great-grandson Alex Vandine, along with many others that called her Mom. In addition to her parents, Frances is predeceased by her brother Richard Cyr.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, at St. Andre Bessette Parish at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave.

Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Garfield Street.
