LACONIA — Florence Rowell Merrill, 91, of Ledgeview Drive, passed away at her home on Monday, Sept. 25.
Florence was born on May 13, 1932, in Manchester, the daughter of Leonard Rowell and Emily Savory.Â
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and crafts. Florence was an avid reader and loved taking classes to keep her mind active.Â
Florence is survived by her son Bruce Merrill and his wife Claire, and three grandchildren, Tricia Morales Hicks, Eric Merrill and Emily Merrill. In addition to her parents, Florence is predeceased by her beloved husband Harry Merrill.Â
There will be no calling hours.Â
Burial will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, Brown Avenue, Manchester.
