TILTON — Ethan A. Storey, 26, of 55 Cedar Street died Tuesday, October 19, 2004. He was born in Laconia, the son of Gregory and Stephanie (Gekas) Storey. Ethan attended school at Sant Bani from first through eighth grade. He completed his education at Winnisquam Regional High School, graduating in 1996.
Following graduation, Ethan moved to Nantucket, Mass. to work with his father who was project manager for a building company. Ethan was a painter by trade, and after returning from Nantucket, he worked for Aaron Burns at Excel Painting Co. Over the years Ethan had both worked and volunteered on projects for both Sant Bani Ashram and Sant Bani School.
Ethan was a talented snowboarder and skateboarder.
He was a compassionate young man, loved by many and was known for his endearing smile and shinning blue eyes. In grammar school his nickname was “Smiley”.
Ethan was predeceased by his father Gregory “Gregg” Storey, October 27, 2003.
Survivors include his mother of Tilton; a daughter, Ivy Isabelle Storey of Tilton; three sisters, Leah Storey and Lisa Ann Stevens, both of Tilton, and Heather Cygan of Belmont; his maternal grandmother, Irene Gekas of Franklin; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private burial service will be held at the Sant Bani Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life Sunday October 24, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. at the Sant Bani Ashram, Sanbornton.

Thibault-Neun Funeral Home in Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
