Elizabeth Marie Larson

SANBORNTON — Elizabeth Marie Larson, 79, of 130 Upper Smith Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, on Monday, December 18, 2006.

Mrs. Larson was born March 19, 1927 in Tilton, the daughter of John A. and Sadie E. (Brown) Barnes.

Mrs. Larson was a lifelong resident of Sanbornton. She was a bus driver for 15 years and was employed at Gilford Transportation and Harbour’s Transportation.

Mrs. Larson was a member of the Winnisquam Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Rebekah’s and the Winnisquam Regional Boosters.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Alvin L. Larson, of Sanbornton; a daughter, Karen Lee Larson, of Crestview, Fla.; two sisters, Phyllis Brooks of Illinois and Margaret Marchese of Everett, Mass; two sisters-in-law, Hope Barnes of Sanbornton and Gladys Barnes of Tilton and many nieces and nephews.

According to Mrs. Larson’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Sanbornton.
