LACONIA — Doris I. Blake, 98, of 30 County Drive and formerly of Gilford, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Saturday, July 3, 2010. Mrs. Blake was the widow of Taylor P. Blake who died in 1988.

Mrs. Blake was born December 23, 1911 in Franklin, the daughter of Frank and Annie (Roblard) LaFrance. She had been a resident of the Lakes Region since 1976. She was employed at the Lakes Region General Hospital for twenty years, retiring in 1969.

Mrs. Blake is survived by a daughter, Deborah D. Dustin, of Penacook; a granddaughter, Suzanne Hirsch, of Manchester, a great grandchild, Jason Taylor Smith, of Webster; two great great grandchildren, Michael and Matthew; a brother, Joseph LaFrance, of Meredith; a sister, Lillian Plizga, of Manchester and several nephews and nieces.

There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held at the family lot in Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth.
