David R. Blais, 72

FRANKLIN — David R. Blais,72, of Franklin, died comfortably on Sept. 10, at Pleasant View Center in Concord.

He was born in Laconia on April 14, 1951, the son of Roger Blais and Ellen (Devoid) Blais.

David Blais was a hardworking and loving grandfather, father, brother and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman, farmer and an "animal on the dance floor” DC.

He would have given the shirt off his back to help another.

Family members include children, Sean, Nicholas, Adam and Jennifer; his longtime companion, Linda Mussey; six grandchildren; his sisters, Linda Mezzapelle and Tina Carey, both of Sanbornton, and Bonnie Carignan of Northfield.

David was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Glenn Blais.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 22. at 10 a.m., in Holy Cross Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Sept. 22. at noon, at 309 Roxbury Road, Sanbornton.
