Corey Allen Morgan, 35

LACONIA — Corey Allen Morgan, 35, of Oak Street, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Concord Hospital in Laconia due to an unforeseen medical issue.

Corey was born on Oct. 26, 1987, at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, the son of Joseph Morgan and Carolyn Hughes.

Corey was loved by family and friends and left this world way too soon. He was an avid lover of playing video games, fishing and building small replica structures. He was always laughing and joking around with his brothers and sister and fun to be around. He talked about traveling, especially to Norway to visit his girlfriend Anne, who would come visit often.

Corey is survived by his mother, Carolyn Hughes of Laconia; stepmother, Wendy Morgan of Bristol; father and stepmother, Joe Morgan and Cheryl Morgan; two sons, Marcos Morgan and Nicholas Greenwood; daughter, Arianna Morgan; brothers, Michael Morgan of Laconia and Jordan LeBlanc of Hill; sister, Brianna Morgan of Meredith; four nieces, Payton Houle of Meredith, Tayanna Morgan of Meredith, Emma Morgan of Laconia and Xylana LeBlanc of Hill; great-uncle Robert Bruce; uncles Jeff Hughes, and Daniel Hughes and his wife Lisa; and grandmother Hazel Cilley. Corey is predeceased by his uncle, Marshall Hughes and grandfather, Bernard Hughes.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28, at noon at 93 Bootjack Road, Hill.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations be made in Corey’s name to Gamers Outreach, gamersoutreach.org/donate, so that Corey’s love of video games can be shared and passed on.
