Claire Rena Dickson, 76, passed away on July 26, 2025, at home with her family by her side.

Born on July 27, 1948, in Laconia, Claire was the daughter of the late Anthenedore “Ted” and Rena Dickson. She is also preceded in death by her stepmother, Mary Dickson.

A graduate of Olmstead Falls High School in Olmstead Falls, Ohio, Claire later received her bachelor of science in communications from Riviera College. She began her career with NEA-NH where she remained until her retirement as MIS director after 25 years of dedicated service.

Claire was a former member of the Emblem Club 105 where she was past president, as well as the Franklin Lodge of Elks 1280.

Claire was the devoted wife of Robert “Skip” Miller. They married in Cherry Grove on July 29, 2000. Warm weather, sandy shores, and the Atlantic Ocean kept calling her name and in 2008, following retirement, Claire and Skip moved to North Myrtle Beach, returning to the beach she loved so dearly.

In her youth, she taught dance, and throughout her life, she loved horses and traveling. A vivacious and free-spirited woman, Claire was always ready for an adventure whether on her own Harley or the back of her husband's. She was kind, caring, full of life, was loving and absolutely loved to laugh. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, whose laughter will be greatly missed.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Skip, are her daughters, Nicole Wilson (Adam), Brandy Miller and Theresa French; grandchildren Jordan Young (Lydia) and Sabrina Bull (Matt); great-grandson Lucas Houten; nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers, Norman and Gerard Dickson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Claire.
