Charles "Chuck" Norwood, 54, passed away on Dec. 31, 2023, in Sandwich.

Chuck was one of the most dependable men anyone could have involved in their life. Those who knew him can attest to his unwavering commitment to being there for others in times of need. A great man and a devoted father, Chuck leaves behind a large hole in the lives of those fortunate enough to call him a friend and father.

Chuck is survived by his loving children, Rory Norwood and Caitlin Norwood. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Norwood, and his father, Fred Norwood.

Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a valued member of the military community. His dedication and commitment to his country was only matched by his commitment to the Freemasons and brothers there within. Chuck enjoyed spending quality time with his friends and family, and never allowed a moment to be free if he knew he could be of service to someone else.

His legacy of dependability, love and friendship will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be missed. We love you.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Jan. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Chocorua Masonic Lodge in Holderness. The service to celebrate Chuck's life will take place the following day, Saturday, Jan. 20, at noon, also at the Chocorua Masonic Lodge, 1 Route 3, Holderness.
