RUMNEY — Callie Royea Racine, of Rumney, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength and adventurous spirit.
Callie was born July 27, 1985, in Laconia, and raised in Plymouth. Callie was a passionate and dedicated individual who brought warmth and enthusiasm to everything she pursued. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire while working at the Spaulding Youth Center, where her compassion and hard work deeply impacted the lives of the children and families she served.
An avid animal lover, Callie found joy in caring for her dogs. She also had a deep love for motorcycle riding and adventure, always embracing life with courage and curiosity.
Callie is survived by her loving mother, Diane Racine of Ashland; brother Kyle Racine and his fiancée Roseann Tango of Bridgewater; aunt Christine and uncle Barry Wescott of Virginia; uncle Nathan and aunt Terry Preuss of New Jersey; aunt Tammy and uncle Jim Joyce of Rumney; uncle Eric and aunt Michelle Racine of Rumney; as well as many cousins and extended family members. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Racine; grandparents Pat and Tony Pruess of Plymouth; grandparents Eleanor and Gordon Racine of Rumney; and uncle Billy Racine of Rumney.
Callie's vibrant spirit, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to those around her will be forever missed and remembered.
Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 17, at Wolfsburg Farm, 84 East Holderness Road, Holderness, followed by a celebration of life from 1:30 to 5 p.m., also at the farm.
