Ann M. Nichols, 90

BRIDGEWATER — Ann M. Nichols, 90, died at her home on Oct. 26 following a period of declining health. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, on June 2, 1933, the daughter of Alven and Evelyn (Hesson) Rebideau. She was raised in Waltham, Massachusetts, attending Waltham Schools and later graduating from English High School in Lynn, Massachusetts.

Following her school years, on July 25, 1953, she was married to her husband of 70 years, Grant Nichols.

After raising her family, she was employed by Hoffmans Department Store, and for many years the New England Telephone Company in the Yellow Page Sales Department. She enjoyed knitting, crochet, playing Scrabble, camping and singing in the church choir.

She was predeceased by her son Robert.

Ann is survived by her husband of 70 years, Grant Nichols of Bridgewater; a son, Gary Nichols and wife, Juniper, of New Mexico; a son, David Nichols and wife, Julie, of Holderness; grandson Ryan Nichols and wife, Vicki, of Northfield; and grandson Brandon and wife, Amy, of Campton; a granddaughter, Mallory Murphy of Gilford; and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 11 Hill Avenue in Ashland. Calling hours are from noon to 1 p.m., prior to the service. For more information, visit dupuisfuneralhome.com
