LACONIA — Albert Edward Fraser Jr., 89, formerly of Pleasant Street, Methuen, Massachusetts, passed away on Oct. 17, 2025, at Concord Hospital-Laconia.

Albert was born on Feb. 25, 1936, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, the son of the late Albert Edward Fraser Sr. and Alice (Sharpe) Fraser.

Albert was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a fireman for the Air Force. Upon his honorable discharge, Albert worked as a machinist.

Albert had a heart of gold and a contagious, beautiful smile that everyone loved. He had innate goodness, a large capacity for loving, loyalty and generosity. He loved with all that he had. Most of all, Albert loved his boys — he always lit up whenever he was with them. When Bruce would visit Albert, Albert would always ask, “Are you going to see me?” which Bruce would always reply “of course.” Albert’s five wonderful boys in so many ways reflect all the fine characteristics that they inherited from him, and from Albert’s father and mother. His son John would always bring Albert a BLT from his restaurant. Albert gave unconditional love to all of his children; even the ones who were not biologically his. Albert taught his children that love is not a blood thing, it is in your soul and it is God’s will and God’s word.

Albert loved Mustangs, motorcycles and driving fast. He rebuilt several motorcycles, some of those were built inside the house because it was too cold to work outside. Albert shared his love of Mustangs with his children; he had gifted his only daughter, Evelyn, his 1990 Mustang, in which he taught her how to drive standard. He also shared the unique love for his 64 ½ Mustang, which was a special toy of his. He also loved oldies music, which he often played from his jukebox.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, who he was madly in love with, Karen Fraser; sons John Fraser and his wife Teri, Mike Fraser and his wife Brenda, Mark Fraser and his wife Joanie, Bruce Fraser and his wife Sally, and Paul Fraser; daughter Evelyn Andrus and her husband Stephen; sister Veronica Fraser; grandchildren Joshua Fraser, Mike Fraser Jr., Peter Fraser, Brandon Fraser, Mark Fraser Jr., and Andrew Fraser; and a niece. In addition to his parents, Albert is predeceased by his sister, Janet Fraser.

Albert, you will see the face of Jesus. Our spiritual mother, Mary, will kiss your cheeks in welcome. Our long-deceased parents, our mama and our dad will hold you in their arms, as will our sister, Janet, and her son, our nephew, Rolly. You’ll be free of all Earthly problems.
