Oliver Leandro, 17, of Gilford, recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of Gilford Troop 243. Leandro earned 32 Merit Badges, 50 Miler Award, and the prestigious Pope Pius X11 Medal and is a member of Order of the Arrow. He has attended several Scout camps, West Point Camporee, completed a Philmont Trek, an Alaskan Wilderness Trip, and a canoe trip in the Allagash with his troop. His Eagle scout project was a complete rebuild of the Gilford Library upper patio.
