Artistic Roots adds new classes, teacher

PLYMOUTH — Artistic Roots is adding several new classes and a new teacher. Sandy Sereno comes to the gallery to teach Art Journaling from the Heart, and a water-based Oil Painting Landscape class on Thursday, Nov. 14, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Lynn Haust will be teaching Fused Glass on Saturday, Nov. 23, 10 a.m.-noon.  Cost for members is $25 and nonmembers $35. She will also offer a two-session class in Discovering the Magic of Dichroic Glass on Thursday, Nov. 14, 5-7 p.m. The cost of the class is $100 for members and $125 for nonmembers.

Suzan Gannett will offer a Make Your Own Earrings class on Thursday, Nov. 14, 5-7 p.m. Cost of the class is $30 for members and $25 for nonmembers. On Wednesday, Nov. 20, 3-5 p.m., Gannett will offer a course, Introduction to Procreate of Your iPad. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. 

Sairose Rain will offer a free children’s class on Saturday, Nov. 23, 10 a.m.-noon called Leaf Shading. She will offer two felting classes, Owls on Saturday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m.-noon, and Gnomes on Saturday, Nov. 30, 10 a.m.-noon. The cost of each class is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers.

Polly Bartlett is hosting Fiber Sundays, 2-4 p.m.  

Annette Mitchell is offering a Creative Drawing class on Mondays, Nov. 18, Nov. 25, Dec. 2, Dec. 9, and Dec. 16, 6-8 p.m. The class will introduce students to thinking outside the box. Alternative drawing tools and techniques will be presented. The cost for members is $150 and for nonmembers $175.
