PLYMOUTH — Plymouth State University’s Nursing program has again been ranked first in New Hampshire by a national nursing resource website.

PSU Nursing is ranked the top nursing program in the state by RegisteredNursing.org on its 2026 list of “Best Nursing Schools in New Hampshire,” based on the pass rates by its graduates on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) over the past five years.

The NCLEX-RN exam is used by all state boards of nursing across the United States to help assess a student’s competency and is required for licensure.

“We are happy to be among the best nursing schools in New Hampshire. Our university and nursing faculty strive for success at every level of the program,” said PSU Director of Nursing Donna Driscoll. “We have fantastic students, and it shows with this ranking.”

PSU received the title for three years in a row.
