MEREDITH — Meredith Village Savings Bank  recently purchased $10,000 in tax credits to support construction at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover. The hospital is leveraging tax credits from the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority to support building a new operating room in its Women and Children’s Center.

“The need for specialized care for women and children in our community continues to grow, and this new operating room will allow us to better meet that demand,” said Manager of Corporate Giving and Special Events at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Judy Pinkham. “We are deeply grateful for MVSB’s support, which helps us expand access to high-quality care for families when they need it most.”

“Strong communities are built on access to exceptional health care, and this project directly invests in the well-being of women and children,” said MVSB Regional Vice President Jim Carrigan. “By supporting the expansion at Wentworth-Douglass, we’re helping ensure that families have the care they need close to home.”
