CONCORD – New Hampshire home health and hospice agency Granite VNA recently announces President and CEO Beth Slepian will retire, effective June 12, 2026.

Granite VNA has initiated a nationwide search for a president and CEO to succeed Slepian.

Slepian joined Granite VNA in 2013 and was named president and CEO in 2015. Prior to joining Granite VNA, she spent 19 years in management and patient care at Northeast Rehab Home Care in Salem, New Hampshire. Her career in the home care industry has spanned over 30 years.

Under her leadership, Granite VNA serves thousands of Granite State residents each year, supported by a resolute and compassionate team of employees and volunteers. She has led the agency’s efforts to expand patient care services and improved clinical management for those with complex health needs, further advancing Granite VNA’s mission.

“The true privilege of my career has been working alongside such an extraordinary team whose compassion, expertise, and tireless commitment to our mission has shaped Granite VNA into the organization it is today,” said Slepian. “This role has been more than a job; leading an organization so deeply rooted in service has shaped me in ways I will carry forever.”

The past five years have been challenging for New Hampshire’s health care organizations, and those challenges have been even more acute for home based care agencies such as Granite VNA, but Slepian has guided the agency with confidence, grace, and humor, through some difficult times.

While navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, the agency, which was then known as Concord Regional VNA, completed a merger with Central NH VNA & Hospice and the formation of Granite VNA.

Slepian worked closely with the leadership and boards of both organizations, attorneys and consultants, and regulators, while also leading the agency through the pandemic and day-to-day operations.

In addition to her role with Granite VNA, Slepian advocates for patients and home health care and hospice concerns at the local, regional, and national level. Slepian currently serves on the board of the National Alliance for Care at Home, and she was recently named to the National Healthcare at Home 2025 Best Practices and Future Insights Study steering committee.

Locally, she serves on the board of the Wolfeboro Area Meals on Wheels, Inc., and has previously served on the boards of NH Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care Association of NH, Heritage Havenwood Heights, CATCH Neighborhood Housing and Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce.

“I am confident in the strength of our leadership team, the resilience of our mission, and the unwavering commitment of our remarkable community,” said Slepian. “I look forward to supporting Granite VNA in new ways, and to seeing it continue to grow and thrive.”
