LACONIA – Residents from Laconia's Taylor Community recently visited Aavid Thermalloy as part of their "Manufacturing Tour." Aavid Thermalloy is one of the world's leading suppliers of thermal management products, which include heat sinks, interface materials and attachment accessories, fan heat sinks, heat pipe assemblies, liquid cooling and phase change devices. The tour of the Laconia facility was led by Aavid's Arthur Karageorges and Dave Lacroix. "Our weekly trips are always exciting," said Taylor Community's Director of Resident Life, Brenda Kean, "but the manufacturing series has been especially so! The manufacturing tour was developed as the result of resident requests to learn more about local manufacturers. I am happy to be able to deliver programming that meets their interests and so happy that Aavid worked with us to coordinate this visit."
