On Tuesday September 4, the Squam Lakes Association (SLA) will host its first annual "Golf For The Kids" fundraiser. This golf outing and barbecue will take place at Owl’s Nest Golf Club in Campton.
All money raised goes towards providing scholarships for area students to participate in SLA’s summer camp and sailing programs. Seven area schools each receive three full scholarships, with recipients chosen by teachers for their good citizenship and humanitarian contributions to their fellow students and school community. Donations are $400 per foursome.
A 10 a.m. shotgun start will begin the golf event, followed by a barbecue and awards. For more information or to register, please call the SLA at 968-7336.
