Kathy Sgambati, former deputy commissioner of health and human services, will take her state senate campaign door-to-door this weekend.

Appointed four times by Democratic and Republican governors, Sgambati will join friends and neighbors at the Opechee Park House Saturday at 10 a.m. to engage voters door to door.

“I am honored that so many of my supporters are willing to give up a summer Saturday to knock on doors for me," Sgambati said. "I think it's clear people are ready for a change in District 4. People want a candidate who will listen and respond to their concerns, particularly when it comes to protecting our lakes and lands, developing health care solutions and supporting children and families. The volunteers who are coming out on Saturday know I have spent a lifetime in service working on these issues. They know that good government does not mean more taxes. Instead it calls for creative solutions and experienced leadership.”

Sgambati said she will be talking with voters about her state government experience and the need for responsive leadership in the N.H. State Senate. She hopes to hear their concerns and talk with them about the cost of health care, environmental concerns and ideas for supporting our children, elders and their families during Saturday’s canvass.

State Senate District 4 includes Alton, Barnstead, Belmont, Gilford, Gilmanton, Laconia, New Durham, Stafford and Tilton.
