SANDWICH — The Sandwich Farmers Market opens for the 2015 season on Saturday, June 13, at 9 a.m. at the Corner House, in Center Sandwich. The market will be open twice a week this year: Saturdays, 9 to 11:30 a.m. and Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Community Church on Church Street.
The market will feature locally grown vegetables, meat, herbs, flowers, maple syrup, jams and more.
Come enjoy a free cup of coffee made by Don Brown of the Corner House. Buy a cupcake from Kelly Decker or take home a French baguette made by Bob Carmany. Chestnut Meadow Farm is growing greens and selling syrup. Mountain Breeze Farm will have pork, beef and maple syrup. Range View Farm will have greens, jam, seedlings and syrup. Other local farmers will join us as the crops come in. Try your hand at felting or pet an alpaca.
Little children can win a prize in a fishing game. Take a tour of the Center Sandwich Triangle, visit museums and other highlights, and win a prize on your return to the market.
The Farmers Market is small, leafy green and friendly. Meet your local farmers and neighbors. Enjoy a morning or afternoon in the essence of Summer. Learn more on our Facebook page: Sandwich Farmers Market N.H.
