Ozanam Place, a Laconia transitional supportive service and case management program for single parents who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness, recently announced the appointment of Bill Johnson of Gilford to the position of Executive Director.

Johnson was one of the original incorporators and a past president of Ozanam’s board. Before his affiliation with Ozanam, Johnson was the president of the Laconia Conference of St. Vincent de Paul. Johnson also represented Gilford in the NH House of Representatives, taught politics at Hesser College and Rutgers University and was Executive Vice President and member of the board of directors of Shearson Lehman Brothers in New York City. Johnson received his graduate degrees in Political Science from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
