Ozanam Place, a Laconia transitional supportive service and case management program for single parents who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness, has appointed Maria Street of Moultonborough as executive director.

Street has more than 20 years of business and accounting experience, starting her career in Boston for Heller Financial and Shimizu Technology. She moved to the Lakes Region and joined WLNH Radio in 1999 as business manager, working on numerous children’s auctions, which raise money for families. She obtained a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Eastern Nazarene College in 1997.

“I am very excited about my new endeavor with Ozanam Place and look forward to carrying on the work of former Executive Director Bill Johnson,” Street said. “I look forward to working with the board of directors, the staff, and the community to further the mission of Ozanam Place.”

Ozanam Place is located at 63 Highland Street in Laconia. For more information contact Street at director@ozanamplace.org or 524-1341.
