Is building a stronger small business one of your New Year’s resolutions? MicroCredit-NH, a business development program of the non-profit New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, can help you make it happen. MicroCredit-NH works with self-employed individuals and microbusinesses — businesses with up to five employees – statewide.
To provide information about the program, MicroCredit-NH will host a free orientation in Laconia on Wednesday, Jan. 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce at 383 South Main Street.
The orientation will offer details about MicroCredit-NH’s resources, which include business skills training, loan capital up to $15,000, the Individual Development Account (IDA) matched savings program and networking opportunities. Several membership options will also be discussed.
“Microbusinesses support the local economy, making up 87-percent of all businesses in New Hampshire,” said Janet Cote, MicroCredit-NH Regional Manager. “MicroCredit-NH’s mission is to strengthen these important businesses for long-term success.”
To register for the orientation, contact Janet Cote at (603) 620-0319. For more information about MicroCredit-NH and its business events statewide, visit www.microcreditnh.org.
