The Second Annual Family Fun Festival, sponsored by The Fitness Edge, Cackleberries Garden and Gift Center, and Greater Meredith Program, will be held on Saturday, May 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Meredith Community Center. The first 100 children to attend get a free $10 gift certificate to Funspot.
Family Fun Festival is free and open to the public. Events include two bounce houses from Perfect Party Home of Jolly Jumpers, a castle from Eased Edges, pony rides, a petting farm, face painting, sensory games, arts and crafts, and free ice cream for all children. Meredith Fire Department will be on hand to provide tours of the fire truck and Meredith Police Department will have ID kits. There will also be story telling, music, dance, and more.
This event is designed to introduce local families to the businesses and services available in the Lakes Region that provide activities for children.
The Greater Meredith Program, an affiliate of New Hampshire Main Street Center, is a community development organization seeking to enhance economic vitality, historical and cultural heritage, and town-wide beautification. For more information about the event call 279-0411.
