LRGHealthcare has launched LRGHealthcare Women’s Health Network. This network was created to better ensure that we are connecting women with all the programs and services they need to keep them healthy.
The Women’s Health Network offers a central point of contact for information about all the women’s health services available in the Lakes and Three Rivers regions. Callers to The Women’s Health Network will reach a resource person who can answer their questions about the range of services we offer, and help connect that caller to all of the resources they need. That person will be knowledgeable about services at all of our locations, and will also have resource information about healthcare services offered throughout the community.
“We are very excited to offer this new resource to women in our community,” said LRGHealthcare Vice President of Patient Care Services Kathryn Waldron, RN. “If you consider the health needs of adolescent girls, women of childbearing age, women reaching menopause, and senior women, it becomes clear that there are a number of different services that must interconnect to serve a woman’s health needs through the continuum of life. Navigating those services can be complicated. The goal of The Women’s Health Network is to make this system easier for women to navigate, and to provide them with a single resource to find all the healthcare services they need right here in their local communities.”
The Women’s Health Network will encompass pre-natal care and childbirth, pediatric and adolescent care, mammography and breast health, cardiac care, urogynecology, surgical services, cancer care, community education programming, bone density and osteoporosis, and more. The network can also help women access information about local providers who are open and accepting new patients.
The LRGHealthcare Women’s Health Network can be reached at 527-7019.
