A veteran radio account manager is forming a media services company that has already reached agreement to purchase all advertising time and space for a Vermont advertising agency. John P. Kimball has represented stations WHOM, WBLM and WJBQ for Citadel Broadcasting and its predecessors for 22 years but is now accepting clients for Kimball Media Services, which will begin operations on June 4.

Kimball will retire from his position with Citadel on June 1 and his new company will place electronic, Internet and print media for clients and has entered into an exclusive agreement to provide such services for Alchemy Advertising and Marketing of Peacham, Vermont.

Alchemy President Michael Bussiere said his nine-year-old company "will no longer directly handle media buying for our clients, as that will now be handled by Kimball Media Services". "We decided to restructure our operations so that we could dedicate more time to graphic design and print services, while still allowing us to provide our in-demand advertising strategy and implementation services," added Bussiere.

"We have been looking for a partnering opportunity with a company that has media expertise and media knowledge and when John Kimball said he was leaving Citadel to start his own company, we knew exactly what we wanted to do," Bussiere continued.

Alchemy Advertising is a full-service agency providing direct marketing programs, advertising implementation and full-color printing to a wide range of retail and service sector businesses in New Hampshire and Vermont. Bussiere said that Alchemy's print and direct marketing business segment has grown 318-percent this year, after the creation of the "greatbizcards.com" website and the Great Biz and Rip Card business card and postcard brands.

Kimball believes Alchemy is the perfect partner for him. "My career as a representative for top-ranking products or services has spanned four decades and I have always been fanatical about working with only the best companies in any respective field," he said. Bussiere's outstanding record of creating striking and distinctive marketing programs and compelling print marketing pieces made it an easy choice for us to compliment my new media buying venture with a company known for its excellent work. . . high quality always produces the best results."
