GILMANTON — The Gilmanton Year Round Library is pleased to welcome Jennifer MacLeod as its new Youth Services Librarian.
MacLeod and her family have been residents of Gilmanton since 2010, and she has played an active role in the library, which included youth programming. A student of literature and education at Dartmouth College, she is currently completing her bachelor's degree through Brigham Young University, Idaho.
With a passion for children's literature and the significant role libraries play in communities, she has volunteered with several community organizations that have promoted and fostered literacy. Her leisure time is spent with family exploring outdoor adventures, photography, genealogy, and of course, reading.
MacLeod is excited to be serving the community in her new position at the GYRL and is looking forward to sharing her love of learning with the youth of the area.
