The Gilmanton Community Yard Sale, scheduled for Saturday, May 24, is becoming a bigger and bigger event by the day. At last count, 55 homes and five tables at the Corners Church had registered, and more were coming in by map publication time. All event profits will be donated to the Gilmanton Community Church scholarship fund.

Residents of Gilmanton have plowed through their attics and barns to help make this event a success. Since this is the first community yard sale for this historic town, sale items are guaranteed to be prolific and interesting. There will certainly be some antique treasures among the bargains!

Maps go on sale for the nominal cost of $1 at the Gilmanton Community Corners Church starting at 8 a.m.. The yard sales will continue until 3 p.m.. The Corners Church is located at the intersection of routes 140 and 107.
