BELMONT — BHS Drama will present "Footloose — The Musical" in the Belmont High School cafeteria on March 23, 24 and 25th at 7 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the door. Adult admission is $10 and students/seniors are $8. The play includes some mild adult language so parent discretion is advised (PG rating).

This musical is based on the 1984 film version, featuring such familiar songs as Kenny Loggins' "Footloose," "Holding Out for a Hero," "Let's Hear It for the Boy," and "Almost Paradise."

The plot involves a high school senior moving from Chicago to small town Bomont where dancing has been outlawed. The young man, Ren, decides that, to create something positive out of all the negativity he faces, he will try to change the law, but first he has to face the formidable Reverend Moore who lost his son in a terrible car accident.

The choreography of this show is a tremendous highlight as well as the unique and energetic performances of BHS students, faculty and alumni.
