New Hampshire Community Technical College Laconia’s top business management student, Kim Meehan (Alton-right), receives the President’s Award of Excellence from business management professor, Max Brown (Loudon-left). The award is based upon academic excellence as a full-time student for the 2005-2006 academic year. Meehan earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the fall semester and is expected to hold that status after the spring semester.

“Kim Meehan is one of the top students I have had in class over the past 18 years,” says Brown, a community college graduate himself before continuing for his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business and education. “She is extremely personable and will be an asset to the Lakes Region business community.”

“My first-year college experience has been a positive one,” says Meehan. “I am looking forward to my summer and fall classes at the College.”

Meehan is a 2005 graduate of Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfeboro.

Upon graduation, Meehan plans to enter the workforce and at some point to start a business for herself. (Courtesy photo)
